Unión Deportiva Lanzarote faces this Wednesday the last rehearsal of the pre-season and that will serve to prepare for the imminent start of the league competition on the 31st. CD Teguise of the Third Division will be the rival of the rojillos, in a match that will be played from 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal of Los Molinos.
Club Deportivo Teguise will celebrate its official presentation this afternoon and has extended an invitation to UD Lanzarote for this purpose. This will be the fifth match of the pre-season, to which we should add the training match held in the first week of work against Orientación Marítima.
The coach of UD Lanzarote, Luis Rueda, will not be able to count on the participation of central defender Dani Mayo for this match, nor will full-back Cristian be able to play. In the case of Dani Mayo, he is out as a medical precaution, after the stitches that were applied to his tibia and which will be removed tomorrow Thursday. The player has continued to exercise in the gym to avoid any type of blow.
For his part, Cristian is out after suffering a double fracture in the third metacarpal of his left hand in a fortuitous action during Tuesday's training session. The player has had a cast applied to the affected area and will not be able to train for the next four or five days. Depending on the evolution of the injury, the medical staff of UD Lanzarote is studying the use of a special splint, which would not prevent him from playing official matches.
The match against CD Teguise will be the last of the pre-season. The balance so far is two victories (CD Corralejo and SD Eibar), a draw (UD Tijarafe) and a defeat (UD Las Palmas)
