The day couldn't have been better for UD Lanzarote and Orientación Marítima, the rojillos added their first victory of the season in the morning with goals from Meca, Checa and Yeray against Racing de Santander B. The "ghost" of the physical decline of the rojillos in the second halves seems to have passed into history. UD Lanzarote offered its best match at home, although it did not reach the level it offered on the previous day when it visited Pontevedra.
The fans enjoyed the first victory of the season that had resisted during the previous nine days. the level shown by the team on the rise in the last three days foreshadows a good future.
For its part, Orientación Marítima managed to win on Sunday afternoon by 0-1 in its visit to La Pared where it faced UD Pájara Playas de Jandía. The majoreros found a goal from Gorka in his own goal in the first minutes of the second half, which was enough for Machín's team to add the three points.
With the first away victory, Marítima regains its breath in the standings, placing itself in the middle zone of the table with 12 points.
The Lanzarote team played a very serious match in which they never gave the opponent any facilities, a deserved victory that was expected.
