It has been months of hard work with the sole purpose of conditioning the DeportClinic by Biolab facilities and offering a unique service in the Canary Islands. On Friday afternoon, starting at 6:00 p.m., the new DeportClinic facilities will be inaugurated, in a ceremony that has confirmed the attendance of important national and international sports personalities and local authorities. The inauguration of the new DeportClinic facilities will feature triathlete Víctor del Corral and presenter Carmen Nieves Pérez as masters of ceremony, being in charge of introducing the guests to each of the corners of DeportClinic.
DeportClinic, located at Calle José Betancort number 2 in Arrecife next to the Insular Delegation of the Government, offers professional athletes, amateurs and sports lovers in general, a place where scientific knowledge and research are applied in order to achieve the challenges of athletes. A center in which each athlete will receive personalized advice, with the development of a personalized training plan tailored to the initial realization of a medical examination and analysis.
The inauguration of the DeportClinic facilities will be attended by important people related to sports. Highlights include the presence of Vicente Úbeda, national athletics coach, doctor David López Capapé and Manuela Rodríguez Marote, tutor of the High Performance Center of Madrid. The sailor José Luis Doreste, currently director of the Catalan Institute of Traumatology, has also confirmed his presence and among the athletes are Cristina Jordán, European Under 23 Cross champion, Israel Oliver, Paralympic athlete of the national swimming team or Isaac Botella, captain of the Spanish artistic gymnastics team. Triathletes Tamara Gómez Garrido and Vicente Hernández will also be at the inauguration of DeportClinic.
Triathlete Víctor del Corral and presenter Carmen Nieves Pérez will be the masters of ceremony for the inauguration of DeportClinic by Biolab. Víctor del Corral will make his first steps as a presenter and will be in charge of receiving the guests. The inauguration of DeportClinic is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. this Friday, October 18.
Open day and round table
After the inauguration that will take place on Friday afternoon, on Saturday morning DeportClinic by Biolab will experience its first working day. From 10:00 a.m. you can visit for free the DeportClinic facilities located at Calle José Betancort, number 2 in Arrecife, as well as all those services and specialties offered by the pioneering sports advisory center of Lanzarote.
The day on Saturday is completed with a round table that will start at 11:00 hours and is entitled; "The road to success...Anonymous heroes of sport". A round table that will feature the participation of the psychologist Manuel Rodríguez Marote, the doctor David López Capapé and the athletes Cristina Jordán Ordiales and Israel Oliver Peña. All of them will discuss different topics related to sport and will highlight the need to have a sports advisory center that helps to improve the performance of professional and anonymous athletes.
Undoubtedly, it will be a very exciting weekend for all the people who are part of the DeportClinic by Biolab project and who have been working for months to launch a new sports advisory service in Lanzarote, counting on the best professionals in each of the subjects.
