Rhythmic gymnastics in Lanzarote continues to demonstrate its very high level in each of the competitions held outside our borders. The hard training that takes place daily and the years of dedication of the young gymnasts are slowly bearing fruit. The Benjamin team of the Tenesa Sol Rhythmic Gymnastics Club won third place in the Canary Islands Championship this past weekend and qualified for the Spanish Championship to be held in Zaragoza.
The Tenerife town of Puerto de la Cruz hosted the Canary Islands Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Championship last Saturday. The island of Lanzarote was represented in this regional event by the Benjamin team of the Tenesa Sol Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, a team that played a great role. The five girls who traveled to Tenerife left the pavilion very high, achieving third place in the Canary Islands Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship.
The Benjamin team of the Tenesa Sol Rhythmic Gymnastics Club was made up of; Cinthya Rijo de León, Carlota Valencia Herrera, Sara Patiño Dieste, Sara Parrilla Valdivia and Laura Tao Martínez Martínez. A group that was accompanied by coaches Tania González Valdivia and Yana Sotirova.
The third place won in the Canary Islands Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship by Teams, qualifies the Benjamin team of the Tenesa Sol Rhythmic Gymnastics Club for the Spanish Championship. The national rhythmic gymnastics event will be held in Zaragoza on November 23, 24 and 25. Without a doubt, the prize for the good role played in the regional championship and the effort they have been making in recent months.
