The Solum Tenerife Adeas Home, skippered by the owner Lucio Pérez, was proclaimed absolute winner of the XIV César Manrique Trophy, the first event of the Canary Sailing Circuit 2025, held in Lanzarote waters this weekend.
The competition remained open until the last moment. After the first day, which included a windward-leeward race and a coastal race, the Solum Tenerife Adeas Home and the Cachito de Augusto Escolar were tied on points, leaving everything to be decided. However, fortune did not favor the conejera boat, which had to withdraw on the second day due to a breakdown. This left the way clear for the triumph of the Tenerife team, who knew how to maintain their good work in the test held on Saturday to consolidate their victory.
With this result, the boat is placed in the provisional first position of the circuit, awaiting the two remaining tests that complete the calendar.
The next event will be the Princess of Asturias Trophy, which will be held in Gran Canaria from September 26 to 28, where the fleet will once again compete in one of the most important nautical competitions in the archipelago. Subsequently, the circuit will experience its final outcome in the Infantas de España Trophy, scheduled between October 10 and 12 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The César Manrique RCNA – Calero Marinas Trophy is supported by the Canary Islands, Lanzarote Tourism, the Lanzarote Cabildo Sports Service and Arrecife Tourism.
