The XII edition of the SAR Infanta Cristina Trophy was held in Tenerife waters last weekend, the second of the events held within the Canary Islands Sailing Circuit and the penultimate of the Spanish Sailing Championship in the Cuceros class.

In the IMS 600 class, the Bombardier skippered by Gustavo Martínez Doreste took the victory, followed by the Audi Compal and the Tenerife-based Maeña IV. In the joint classification of the IMS 500 and IMS 600 classes, Gustavo Martínez's boat won the match against Oliver Alonso's Audi Compal, which was always one length away from being at the head of the fleet, but its opportunity never came, having to settle for second place.

In the IRC Regatta group, the Audi took advantage of the errors and problems that the Comeztier Cepsa Tenerife had on the last day to reach the lead and the final victory.

In IRC Cruiser, the Princesa Yaiza-Hotel Fariones counted its participations as triumphs, four first places in the classification that, in addition to the trophy as winner of IRC Cruiser, also gave it the title of winner of the Dorada Trophy to the best boat with a Canarian crew in the IRC class, with the Bombardier Illes Balears being the one that achieved it in the IMS
