The Nadamas Las Marinas club participates in the Regional Swimming League

The Nadamas Las Marinas Club, a federated team for four years, represented the island of Lanzarote in the Regional Swimming League events. A competition organized by the Canary Islands Swimming Federation with the aim of creating a regional ranking in the different categories. This past weekend it was the turn of the children's category swimmers.

The Nadamas Las Marinas club traveled to Fuerteventura with five swimmers who obtained excellent results. Marco Díaz-Bertrana participated in the 100-meter breaststroke and 200-meter freestyle categories. For his part, Adrián Ossorio took part in the 200-meter freestyle event. The participation from Lanzarote was completed with the presence of Victoria Chantada, Alba Saez, and Giovanna Romano, who swam the 200-meter freestyle distance.

The Regional Swimming League event was held in the Las Playitas pool. The best results were obtained by Marco Díaz-Bertrana, who was first in the 100-meter breaststroke category, with a time of 1:20:70, beating Aitor Medina from the Las Escuevas club and Julio Gallego from CD Herbania. Marco Díaz-Bertrana also obtained first place in the 200-meter freestyle category.

In the women's category, the best result was achieved by Victoria Chantada in the 200-meter freestyle category, obtaining a third place with a time of 3:00:36. For her part, Alba Sáez had to settle for fourth position and Giovanna Romano was twelfth. Adrián Ossorio in the 200-meter freestyle was third in his series with a record of 2:48:07.

The Regional Swimming League day was also held in Tenerife and Gran Canaria. After the tests held this past weekend, the Canary Islands Swimming Federation has prepared the regional ranking of the children's category. At the regional level, Marco Díaz-Bertrana currently has the second-best time in the 100-meter breaststroke category and the fourth-best time in the 200-meter freestyle.
