The Marines Canoeing Club will participate in the 1st Spanish Sea Kayak Cup

The Marlines de Lanzarote Canoeing Club will travel this Friday, March 29 to Cartagena to compete in the 1st Spanish Sea Kayak Cup, with a total of 26 athletes and their two coaches. The competition will have two days of regattas, Saturday and Sunday, and will have more than 220 participants.

The members of the Marlines affirm that they face "a great challenge, having to compete two days in a row", where many of the athletes will accumulate "more than 25 kilometers in the two days".

From the club they explain that "to make the trip possible, all their material had to be transported by boat together with one of their coaches, having to be away from home for more than 10 days, with more than 45 hours by boat and many kilometers by road", while "the rest of the team will travel tomorrow by plane".

"All this represents a great economic expense for the club", say from the Mariles, from where they conclude by pointing out that "all this effort is made with clear objectives as a team, which are faced with great enthusiasm to obtain very good results and return with the homework done".
