With the conclusion of the season come the summer tournaments that expand throughout the Spanish geography. The Lanzarote Selection of children and youth categories travels this Tuesday to Lloret de Mar to participate in the Costa Girona Cup. A prize for the thirty players who have been selected.
The Costa Girona Cup is an international tournament that is played in the youth, cadet, children and youth categories. The island of Lanzarote will be represented by the Lanzarote Selection, with the Island Football Delegation being in charge of organizing the trip to Catalan lands.
The Lanzarote Youth Selection will be composed of the following players: Pedro Crespo Sánchez, Pedro Perera Perdomo, José Gabriel Brito León, Jorge Pérez Aguiar, Juan Andrés Guedes Duarte, Pedro Cabrera Gil, Adrián Machín Arrocha, Borja Umpiérrez Felipe, Saúl Coco-Bassey Oubiña, Raúl Valiente Mendoza, Luis Fajardo Arroyo, Pablo Rodríguez Ramos, Jeremi Martín Machín, Jacomar Barco Tavío and Antonio Villalba Cañaveras.
The youth competition is composed of a total of 10 teams, with the Lanzarote Selection being placed in group B. The Venezuelan team of Franco Rizzi, PE Sant Jordi, La Salle Atlético and CF Garraf, will be the rivals of the Lanzarote team in the first phase.
The Lanzarote Children Selection is composed of the following players: Borja Jorge Toledo, Sandra Hernández Rodríguez, Simón Robayna Moreno, Alexander Placeres Olivero, Álvaro Duarte Batista, Francisco Suárez Tavío, Alejandro Perdomo Gutiérrez, Iván Martín Morales, Javier Martín Ramos, Miguel Galván Estévez, Oliver Viera Hernández, Aythami Delgado Rivera, Héctor González Mendoza, Nicolás Ledo Veloso and Javier Yañez Páez.
In the children category, the participation of teams such as FC Barcelona or Villarreal stands out. The two teams will be composed of the players who in a few days will participate in the Brunete Tournament organized by Canal Plus. The Lanzarote Selection has been placed in group A, together with FC Barcelona, Albacer and Cercle A.
Basilio Coco-Bassey, Rafael Valiente and Pedro Cabrera will act as delegates of the Lanzarote Selection. The Lanzarote expedition travels this Tuesday to Lloret De Mar, a town where the Costa Girona Cup will be held. And the return of both selections is scheduled for next Monday, June 29.
