The Lanzarote International Cup is open to the Benjamin and Alevín categories, with numerous international and national teams having confirmed their participation, including some from the rest of the Archipelago. Between athletes, coaches, managers, referees, and family members, more than 5,000 people will gather on the island from June 26 to 30. The Lanzarote International Cup will be experienced throughout the island, with fields in all seven municipalities and the participation of 82 teams and some 1,300 athletes.
The president of the Inter-Island Football Federation of Las Palmas, José Juan Arencibia Alemán, and the representative of Lanzarote International Cup, Pedro Cabrera Arencibia, signed a collaboration agreement this Thursday morning, which will benefit grassroots teams from Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Lanzarote.
With the agreement reached, the top three teams classified in the Alevín Preferente of Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, the three from the Alevín Superliga of Fuerteventura, and the top four from the Benjamín Preferente of Lanzarote, will participate in the Lanzarote International Cup as guests. It was also agreed that the referees who will officiate the matches must belong to the FIFLP.
The FIFLP commits to promoting the Lanzarote International Cup through its official channels. The agreement signed between the FIFLP and Player 12 Global Sports, S.L. (organizer of the Tournament) will be valid for one "extendable year".

The Cabildo of Lanzarote is a co-organizer, and already at the presentation last November, the president Oswaldo Betancort said that: "Lanzarote will host for the first time a sporting macro-event that will be an opportunity for the economy, the tourist promotion of the island worldwide, and the transmission of sporting values to our young people."
