The Lanzarote team already knew about the difficulty of this weekend's match, visiting the Ciudad Deportiva Javier Pérez to face the Fundación Canaria del CD Tenerife, a team that leads the Women's First National Division and has not lost any match so far this season. In addition, the casualties, although to a lesser extent than in previous matches, also reduced the reaction capacity of the Tiñoseras, who could only attend the match with two changes, with both players entering in the second half.
The Tenerife team felt very comfortable from the beginning and with an early goal from Martina, forced Jack Talbot's players not to be able to close in and to have to open up a little more to look for the equalizer. Despite the score, FC Puerto del Carmen tried not to change its way of playing, looking for a way to reduce the differences and, at the same time, prepare things that could be useful for possible future matches.
