The Lanzarote driver Yeray Lemes was recently received at the Cabildo de Lanzarote by the Minister of Sports, Juan Monzón, after a spectacular season in which he was proclaimed champion of the Canary Islands, provincial champion and champion of Lanzarote in motorsport. 

Monzón highlighted “Lemes' effort, perseverance and passion for this sport, values ​​that have made him a benchmark for motorsport in the islands.”

"Yeray Lemes is an example of perseverance and talent, taking the name of Lanzarote to the top of Canarian motorsport. His achievement is not only a source of pride for our island, but also an inspiration for future generations of drivers," said Juan Monzón.

The councilor also wanted to emphasize "the commitment of the Island Sports Service to motorsport, showing its support for athletes and clubs that make it possible for this sport to continue growing in Lanzarote." "We will continue to bet on island motorsport and work so that our drivers have the best conditions to compete and achieve great achievements," added Monzón.
