The Asturian player Pablo Suárez, born almost 26 years ago in Oviedo (16.09.1979) joined the discipline of Castillo Club de Fútbol yesterday afternoon, carrying out his first training session under the orders of José Carlos Álamo.
Pablo Suárez plays as an ambidextrous full-back and played last season for Benidorm CD, previously he had spent two seasons at Unión Deportiva Lanzarote with whom he played two promotion play-offs to the Second Division B. Before joining UD Lanzarote he had debuted in the First Division with Real Oviedo.
The player, who is 1.82 tall and weighs 75 kilos, performs well in all defensive positions, although his preference is the right back. But the departure of Víctor Afonso to UD las Palmas could lead him to play in the center of the defense of the Gran Canaria team. With this acquisition, Castillo CF, coached by José Carlos Álamo, closes the chapter of signings for the 2005-2006 season.
Castillo CF will play a new pre-season match this afternoon against Unión Deportiva Gáldar at the Ciudad Deportiva de San Isidro.
