San José Obrero closes the signing of Montenegrin pivot Stefan Cizmovic

The San José Obrero Handball Club has reinforced the pivot position with the signing of Stefan Cizmovic, a native of Montenegro and with extensive experience in international competitions.

Stefan Cizmovic, born on January 4, 1993 in Montenegro, is a 1.87 meter tall player who occupies the pivot position on the playing court. He stands out for his mobility to win the position to the defenders, connecting perfectly with the first line of the team and finishing the attack plays from the pivot position.

He began in the ranks of RK Budvanska Rivijera of Montenegro, joining in the 2009/2010 season in RK Sutjeska, a team with which he played two editions of the EHF Cup and a participation in the Challenge Cup. His last team in Montenegro was RK Lovcen Cetinje, with which he also played the EHF Cup in the 2013/2014 season.

In the 2014/2015 season he made the leap to Macedonia to be part of RK Strumika, signing the following season for RK Zominak, a team with which he played the EHF Cup and the SEHA Cup. The last two seasons he has played in the RK Radovis of Macedonia. Stefan Cizmovic has been international for Montenegro in each of the lower categories.

Stefan Cizmovic becomes the fifth reinforcement of CB San José Obrero for the 2018/2019 season, a campaign in which the club will return to play in the Men's First National. The incorporation of Stefan Cizmovic joins the signings of left winger Lucas Abadía, midfielders Andoni Rodríguez and Nacor Medica and the return of Joel Peraza. In the chapter of renovations, the club has closed the continuity of Carmelo Álvarez, Pedro Cabrera and Alexis Rodríguez.
