San Bartolomé C.F. Promoted to Regional Preferente

San Bartolomé C.F. will be promoted next season to Regional Preferente. This was announced by the Club itself after learning of the decision adopted by the Inter-Island Football Federation of Las Palmas, which has officially confirmed the suspension of all remaining matches this season. Thus, the FIFLP agreement implies that the team with the best classification when the competition was suspended will be promoted, which in the case of the First Regional of Lanzarote was San Bartolomé C.F., with a total of 32 points.

"From this very moment, the board of directors has set to work to plan the 2020/2021 season and the first step taken has been the renewal of the regional coach, Juan Francisco Vega Torres," they said from the club.

For his part, the mayor of the municipality, Alexis Tejera, congratulated San Bartolomé C.F. for their promotion, on behalf of the entire municipal corporation, as well as all the people who make up the Board of Directors, coaches and technicians, players, "and all the huge fans who follow the team cheering them on in every game."

The Councilor for Sports, Isidro Pérez, has also joined in this congratulation to all the people who make up the club, and especially to the athletes, encouraging them "to continue adding achievements."
