Lanzarote native Raúl Fajardo wins bronze medal in the National Under-21 Karate League

The Municipal School Suhari Karate of Tías is again in luck after participating in the National Cadet-Junior-Sub21 League that was held a few days ago in Bilbao and where nearly nine hundred competitors from all over the country participated.

The young karateka Raúl Fajardo Barrios won the bronze medal in Sub 21, in the category of -84 kg by 6 to 0, after falling in the semifinal with the world and European champion and current champion of Spain, Alejandro Molina. The Lanzarote native recovered and prevailed in a big way, winning 6 to 0, and hanging the bronze medal in this first phase of the National Karate League.

Both Raúl and the rest of the club's athletes continue working towards future competitions. In this sense, next weekend they have a new appointment at the International Open of the European Shitokai Association.
