The 25th edition of the Rallye La Nucía Mediterráneo 2019 had a presence from the island of Lanzarote with the participation of Miguel Durán, together with Juan Monzón in the Suzuki Swift Cup and Ariday Bonilla as co-driver of Pablo Medina from Gran Canaria.
The Lanzarote natives were immersed in the Suzuki Swift Cup with disparate results. While Ariday Bonilla managed to finish in second position in the cup, Miguel Durán finished in 14th position in the cup and 24th overall. A merit for a pilot who is making his debut in the world of rallies where he has managed to finish 5 events belonging to the Spanish championship.
Miguel, as a novice racer, also participated in the Swift Junior Cup occupying the fifth position in the Alicante event, while Ariday Bonilla helped Pablo Medina to make the second position of the junior and certify his championship in this cup.
Miguel Durán was one of the 25 drivers who this year is participating in the Suzuki Swift Cup, leaving the Madrid event, where he hopes to improve the fifth place he currently holds in the general standings, by overtaking Juan Manuel Lamela.
