The sports management of UD Lanzarote continues to add pieces to the team's squad for the 2020/2021 season and to have a squad of guaranteed footballers to face a new campaign in the Canarian group of the Third Division. The last to join the rojillo project is the midfielder Adrián Machín, a young value of Lanzarote football who has demonstrated his worth throughout these last campaigns.
Adrián Machín Arrocha, born on March 11, 1999, is a versatile footballer who can perform perfectly in several positions on the field. His most common position is usually that of midfielder or right winger, although given his qualities he can also perform his work on the side of the defensive line, so he offers many alternatives to the coaching staff.
He has trained in the lower categories of Unión Sur Yaiza, a club with which he debuted in the Third Division in the 2015/2016 season as a youth category player. In his last year as a youth player, he joined the ranks of Orientación Marítima to play in the Youth Honor Division, and later returned to Unión Sur Yaiza where he has remained for the last two seasons.
He already has some experience in the Canarian group of the Third Division, a category in which he has played a total of 22 matches, 11 of them in the team's starting eleven, playing a total of 1,141 minutes and in which he scored a goal with the southern team's shirt.
UD Lanzarote wants to thank Unión Sur Yaiza for their willingness to facilitate the player's departure and for him to belong to the rojillo project for the 2020/2021 season. The footballer was in the plans of the southerners to be part of the squad that will compete in the Regional Preferente de Las Palmas.
The incorporation of Adrián Machín is the third signing of UD Lanzarote and adds to the arrival of left back Javi Morales and inside player Kevin Castro. In the chapter of renewals, the rojillo club has closed the continuity of goalkeepers Alejandro Martín and Ruymán Fernández, defender Raúl Fernández, winger Miguel Gómez, midfielder Aythami Yebri and midfielder Ayoze Pérez.
