Maimouna Haidara achieves her first MVP in LF2 with Magec Tías

The junior player scored 17 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the match against AD Cortegada

Magec Tías Against Gender Violence sealed their permanence in the Women's League 2 last Saturday, after winning in the penultimate match against AD Cortega (82-58). A match in which the team stood out, and in which individual players such as Maimouna Haidara and Camille Giadina have been among the best of the day. The young Maimouna Haidara has won her first MVP in the second category of Spanish women's basketball.

The junior born in Mali, who joined the ranks of Magec Tías in November, is growing rapidly in the national category. Against Cortegada, she achieved her eighth "double-double" of the season, after scoring 17 points and grabbing 17 rebounds, 15 of them in defensive tasks.

Maimouna Haidara, with 31 valuation points, becomes the MVP of the twenty-fifth day of the Women's League 2, completing her extraordinary statistics with 3 assists and 4 blocks in the 30 minutes she was on the court and her performance being fundamental for the Lanzarote team to conquer the seventh victory of the season.

In the 16 matches she has played, she averages 11.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 17 valuation credits per game. In addition, the Magec Tías junior is the second highest rebounder in group A with 172 balls captured, the best blocker with 16 blocks and the fifth in valuation with 278 points.
