Magec Tías Against Gender Violence could not keep up with Náutico de Tenerife and fell defeated by 52 to 64 in a match corresponding to matchday 20 of the Women's League 2. Jesús García's team started the match very well, but as the minutes passed, Igor Martín's girls were overcoming it with a very intense defense and a decisive outside shot.
The match began with three-pointers from Verónica Matoso and Carolina Mateo for Magec Tías. The local team played with their heads and achieved a lead of up to four points, but the visiting team did not give up and tightened the score with strong pressure throughout the court. Magec Tías risked looking for the comeback, but that risk turned into nerves, the nerves into erroneous decisions and these decisions into points for the rival. Náutico de Tenerife signed a 0-15 partial that left the match seen for sentence, with a maximum advantage of 16 points. The visiting team finally won by 52 to 64, achieving a very important victory for their aspirations in the standings.
