Lionel Morales has closed the season with the best of flavors, proclaiming himself the winner in the World Triathlon Para Championships in Malaga held this weekend in the
Andalusian city, sealing his golden ticket for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Morales arrived at this Malaga event for the final of the world series after achieving fourth position in the World Championship held in Pontevedra and with a place in the
Paris Olympics in his pocket.
After achieving first place in Andalusia, the Lanzarote triathlete explained that "I am very happy with the result to finish the season with this triumph. Now it's time to rest and plan for next season to try to arrive in the best possible conditions for the races of next season and, of course, for the Paris Olympics," concludes
