This coming weekend Lanzarote hosts the second round of the Canary Islands Karting Championship, the first of the Las Palmas Provincial Championship.
On June 11 and 12, the event will be held at the Permanent Circuit of the Gran Karting Club Lanzarote, with 34 drivers registered and a high quality of participants.
For this start of the season, the Organization has planned to have one of the Technical Commissioners of Korridas of Portugal, Armindo Antonio Oliveira, on track. The Rotax professional expert will be an advisor throughout the development of the event, advising on engine checks, as well as during the prior technical checks, together with the local Technical Commissioners who will also carry out the final race checks.
The Permanent Circuit of the Gran Karting Club Lanzarote has optimal facilities for the practice of Karting competition, with 1,281 meters of track, almost 300 meters more than the Gran Canaria track.
