LandBit Lanzarote solves the derby against Tejina in the second part of the match

A "not very easy" match for LandBit Lanzarote but they finally managed to become the winner 26 to 30

LandBit Lanzarote San José Obrero visited Balonmano Tejina La Laguna on Saturday afternoon, playing a new derby within the Men's First National Division. It was not an easy match for the San José Obrero players, seeing how the opponent took the initiative until the first minutes of the second half.

LandBit Lanzarote put on its work clothes to end up winning by 26 to 30 against the Tenerife team. The match began with the dominance of Balonmano Tejina La Laguna, being in charge of taking the initiative on the scoreboard and having a three-goal lead after the first eleven minutes of play (6-3). The coach of LandBit Lanzarote did not like what was happening on the court, so Iñaki Malumbres soon requested a time-out.
Balonmano Tejina La Laguna was able to continue taking the initiative, increasing the lead as the minutes passed. With the score at 15 to 11, the first thirty minutes of play came to an end. Alarms went off in the ranks of LandBit Lanzarote in the first minutes of the second half, starting the period with a 3-1 partial in favor of the Tenerife team (18-12).

The reaction of the Lanzarote team was immediate and the goals of Alexis Rodríguez, Mikita Liavonau and Nacho López put the score at 18 to 14. The best version of LandBit Lanzarote began to be seen on the 40x20, reaching two goals down (20-18) and the Tejina coach having to request a time-out. The time on the bench served for Brahim Abdel-Lah and Tomás Bañeras to put the advantage back in the four goals (22-18).

After the halfway point of the second half, LandBit Lanzarote San José Obrero took the lead for the first time on the scoreboard (24-25). And it was in the last five minutes when the Lanzarote team sentenced the match in their favor, taking advantage of the fact that the opponent was left with one less player on the court for four minutes due to the double exclusion suffered by Yusef Abdel-Lah.

The goals of Ángel Iglesias (2), Acoidán Martín and Mikita Liavonau, ended up tilting the match in favor of the visitors, reaching the end of the match with the score of 26 to 30. The competition resumes after the Easter break, and San José Obrero will do so by receiving the visit of Saeplast Balonmano Cañiza.
