The undisputed reference of Spanish sports journalism arrives at Grupo Atresmedia. Onda Cero reinforces its already consolidated programming with the incorporation of sports journalist José Ramón de la Morena.

De la Morena, will turn on 'El transistor' from next season, the new sports bet for Onda Cero nights. Thus, the journalist from Brunete joins a team that already includes Carlos Alsina, Juan Ramón Lucas, Julia Otero, David del Cura, Javier Ares, Javier Ruiz Taboada or Isabel Gemio, among others.

The best sport, the best athletes, the best sports information, the best opinions... and, of course, the best José Ramón de la Morena will meet every night from 10.30 pm around 'El transistor'.

De la Morena does not arrive alone at Onda Cero. A great team of journalists and collaborators will join the chain's Sports editorial team from this summer to form a leading team in Spanish sports radio.

"I want to continue learning things from each of the professionals in this house. Everything I have achieved in this profession has always been thanks to the team that has surrounded me and I think we are going to form a very good one here," says José Ramón de la Morena.

De la Morena has a long professional career in front of the microphones. Since 1989 he has been staying up late to tell listeners with his particular complicity the great deeds of Spanish athletes: from the World Football Championship, to the successes of Rafa Nadal, Pau Gasol, Teresa Perales, Arancha Sánchez Vicario or Fernando Alonso.

And it is that "the protagonists of this are the athletes. We are living a unique moment in our sport and it is about all of them passing through 'El transistor'. We have the best team to try to entertain everyone who wants to be with us on the other side of the radio every night," explains José Ramón de la Morena.
