CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen won this Saturday at the Tías Municipal Pavilion against SAR Rodavigo (33-22) in a match corresponding to the tenth day of the season in group A of the Women's Silver Honor Division.

The Tiñoseras present their credentials after this victory to occupy one of the high areas of the standings. They have chained six positive results between League and Copa de la Reina, although they have one less match that they will recover next week against Rubensa Balonmano Porriño in Galician lands, in a postponed match corresponding to the seventh day of the group.

The first fifteen minutes of the conejeras were not good. Certain defensive fragility and highly disputed arbitration decisions affected the score in the initial minutes (2-6, min. 10). But the team recovered and in the face of adversity brought out its roots, defensive power and lethal counterattacks, and in the last minutes of the first half they achieved a certain advantage on the scoreboard that would not decrease during the rest of the match (13-10, min 30).

The second half was a different story. CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen playing at ease. Made Cortez, who joins this week the concentration of the Chilean team, with a high percentage of saves and taking the ball with mastery to the counterattack. The defense working at cruising speed and waves of counterattacks that ended up finishing off the options of the Galician team and allowed the youngest members of the Tiñosero bench to enjoy minutes in the Women's Silver Honor Division (Enola Rodríguez, Alba Ferrer and Carmen Sánchez).

In the scoring facet of SAR Rodavigo, Tamara Seijas stood out with eight goals. In the ranks of Tienses, Rosa Álvarez steered the team with nine goals, well accompanied by Suely Pinto Spencer with six goals scored.

Next weekend there is no league day but CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen travels to Galicia to recover the match corresponding to the seventh league day of group A of the Women's Silver Honor Division against Rubensa Balonmano Porriño, a match that will be played on Saturday, November 23, at 8:00 p.m. in the Municipal Pavilion of Porriño. The Galician team is in the middle-low part of the standings.

Referees: Víctor Rodríguez and José Carlos Palenzuela from the Canary Islands school. They excluded Keyla Hernández, Eva Morales and Atteneri Morales from CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen. Lucía Vázquez, Goretti Miguel (2) and Ainhoa Francisco were excluded from the visitors.
