Vibrant, exciting and intense match that was experienced on Saturday night at the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion. Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero suffered to add the ninth victory of the season and the end of the match was a real heart attack. In the first half, the Lanzarote team enjoyed wide differences in the score, not being able to close the match and giving life to a Universidad de León Ademar that never gave up on the match. The Leonese team took the lead in the second half, and only the good defense and definition in attack allowed San José Obrero to turn the score around to score a new victory that consolidates it in the privileged area of the First National Men's Handball Division.

The match began with a 2-0 partial in favor of Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero. The locals imprinted a lot of intensity to their game both in attack and defense, which allowed them to gradually take off on the scoreboard. The good selection of shots in attack, and the tough defense against which Universidad de León Ademar crashed, were key for San José to go with a four-goal advantage (6-2), which forced the visiting coach to ask for the first timeout of the match.

After the instructions from the bench, Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero achieved a 2-0 partial, putting a clear 8 to 2 on the scoreboard and this being the maximum difference it had throughout the match. It was time to finish the match, to leave it sentenced against a rival who was not comfortable on the playing field. The San José players wanted to delight the numerous fans who gathered at the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion, which would give life to Universidad de León Ademar.

The visitors with a 0-3 partial reduced the differences and got back into the match. With a score of 12 to 10 in the 19th minute, Jesús Casanova asked for the first timeout of the match to get his team back into the match. After the timeout, Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero tightened in defense, although Universidad de León Ademar would tie the match with a goal from the wing by Diego Barredo (14-14). At halftime, the score would be 15 to 14 in favor of the local team, leaving the match open for the second half.

Unlike previous matches, the rival team did not show any sign of physical weakness in the second half and played face to face with Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero. In the 10th minute, the Leonese team took the lead for the first time in the match (19-20) and even had a two-goal advantage that forced the local coach to ask for a timeout so that the match would not escape him.

With a 2-0 partial culminated by Luis Morín, Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero tied the match and the match entered a dynamic of exchanging goals. With 1 minute and 56 seconds remaining, the score reflected a 28-goal tie and the coach of Universidad de León Ademar asked for a timeout to prepare the last defenses and attacks of his team.

In the last attack of Universidad de León Ademar, San José Obrero made a mixed defense on Rodrigo Pérez, one of the maximum exponents of the Leonese attack. The local defense was very secure and Juan José "Pichi" stopped the hasty shot of the visiting team.

With the final score of 29 to 28, the match came to an end, with Chacón Lanzarote San José Obrero adding the ninth victory of the season. A triumph that places the Lanzarote team as third classified, just one point behind the second and leader of its group and with five points of advantage over the fourth classified team. In the next match, San José Obrero visits Uharte, a team that has only won one match and occupies the penultimate place in the classification of group B of the First National Men's Handball Division.
