The match between U.D. Lanzarote and U.D. San Fernando started with few chances, although it is true that San Fernando had some approaches through corner kicks. However, in the 35th minute, a ball sent deep towards Gastón caused the player to be unbalanced after entering the area. The referee indicated a maximum penalty that was transformed by Ayoze Pérez. With 1-0, the 45 minutes came to an end.
The second half started. The visiting team tried to react, controlled the ball and approached the vicinity of Agoney's area. However, in the 71st minute of the match, a shot from outside the area by the local player, Miguel Gómez, without apparent excessive danger, could not be stopped by the visiting goalkeeper Fermín and the ball went into the goal. It was 2-0.
San Fernando reduced the difference in the 83rd minute of the match. Quintero scored from a penalty after a visiting player was knocked down inside the area after a struggle.
