The match between Costa del Sol Málaga and Zonzamas Plus Car Lanzarote, corresponding to the ninth round of the Guerreras Iberdrola League, which was to be played this Saturday, has been postponed due to logistical problems in the Lanzarote team's travel.
The team from Lanzarote was scheduled to travel to the Peninsula on a Vueling flight, which was delayed for several hours, making it impossible for them to arrive in time for the match, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (Peninsular time).
Faced with the impossibility of finding a transportation alternative that would guarantee the match could take place, the Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM) decided to suspend the game and look for a new date on the calendar.
Zonzamas Plus Car Lanzarote regrets the situation and appreciates the understanding of the rival club and the fans. The Federation will officially announce the new date for the match in the coming days.
