Ca´Mario Lanzarote storms the court of CD Agustinos Alicante (27-28)

Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero added the second victory of the season in the Men's Silver Honor Division on Sunday morning, after beating CD Agustinos Alicante by a tight 27-28. The players trained by Jordi Lluelles played a perfect first half, in which they knew how to mature each of the attack options. The failures in attack and the losses of the ball, allowed CD Agustinos to get into the game in the second half, returning the best version of Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero in the final minutes to take the victory.

From the beginning of the match, Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero was well planted on the playing field. The initial goal of Iván José Montoya for CD Agustinos Alicante was neutralized by two goals from pivot Javi García. CD Agustinos Alicante played with its usual 5:1 defense, trying to steal balls in the circulation of the opposing team. Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero matured each of its attack actions, always looking for the best alternative and the best launch. It was in the final stretch of the first part when the Lanzaroteños achieved the maximum difference, going to rest with a four-goal advantage (10-14).

The second part began with a 1-2 partial in favor of Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero, thanks to the goals of Alberto Molina and Javi García. From that moment, the Lanzarote team got stuck in attack, with several failures in the launch and losses of the ball, a circumstance that was used by CD Agustinos Alicante to get into the game.

A 5-0 partial allowed CD Agustinos Alicante to tie the game (16-16), with Carmelo Álvarez in charge of breaking the dynamics of the locals. The Alicante team took control of the match, beginning to mark the first clear differences on the scoreboard, reaching a rent of three goals. Jordi Lluelles requested a time out with 14 minutes remaining for the end of the match (22-20).

The time out served to get the players of Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero back into the game and especially to improve in the defensive work. The good defenses of the Lanzarote team and the stops of Dzmitry Patotsky, allowed San José Obrero to turn the situation around. Marcio Da Silva and Alberto Molina, returned to put Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero ahead on the scoreboard (25-26).

With four minutes remaining for the end of the match, Nico López increased the differences to two goals (25-27).
