Balonmano Lanzarote misses the match against Dólmenes Antequera

Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife was defeated in the cruelest way in their visit to Dólmenes Antequera, in a match in which they had a four-goal lead in the second half and did not know how to manage it to add the two points. An intentional foul in the last seconds was punished with seven meters, and the Malaga team scored the shot to take the victory by 25 to 24.

The intensity on the playing field was maximum during the development of the first part, with an exchange of goals. Only in the first minutes of the match, Dólmenes Antequera took the initiative on the scoreboard, but Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife did not take off from its rival at any time.

Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife did not lose face in the match at any time. Before the halfway point of the first half, Abián Martín put his team ahead for the first time on the scoreboard (4-5). The defensive intensity and the good performances of Javi de la Cruz in the goal kept San José Obrero ahead. Joel Armas culminated a counterattack to increase the advantage to three goals (7-10). With the result of 9 to 11, the break was reached.

Dólmenes Antequera tied the game in the first minutes of the second half, with powerful shots from Fernando Moreno and Antonio Pérez. Balonmano Lanzarote did not lose face in the match, having a maximum advantage of four goals in this second half (13-17). A difference that the Malaga team was gradually reducing, equaling the forces on the playing field again.

The alternatives were maximum in the final minutes, reaching a tie in the last minute of the match and Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife having the last attacking play to win the match. Javi Aragón was not successful in the one-on-one, with the referees signaling a hit. The center prevented Antequera from taking out quickly, an action that was punished as an intentional foul, signaling seven meters and the red card.

Javier Ariño was in charge of executing the seven-meter shot, not failing so that his team could conquer the two points that were at stake by winning by a tight 25 to 24. A result that leaves the permanence further away for Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, a team that will receive Valinox Novas next Saturday.
