Miserable

The PSOE of Tinajo, faced with the regrettable and unfortunate declarations of the mayor Jesús Casimiro Machín, who branded the half a million euro allocation for the new Medical Center of the municipality as "miserable", cannot remain silent.

The Socialist Party has a different perception of the word "miserable". Miserable is not having bothered for years to improve the health infrastructure of Tinajo. Miserable is considering an allocation, any allocation, of public money from the Government of our Autonomous Community as a pyrrhic contribution. Even one euro is more than he got from his party colleagues during several legislatures.

Miserable is calling citizens who feel socialist "demagogues", simply because they do not act or think like him. By the way, "demagogue" is that person who does "demagoguery", which is telling the people what they want to hear, especially in politics.

Miserable is attacking a party, the PSOE, whose sole objective is to improve people's lives. And nothing improves life more than being able to access our public health system, in this case through the new medical center.

What the PSOE of the Canary Islands and that of Tinajo have done has been to address a need, materializing an allocation in the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of 2016, thanks to the efforts of a socialist councilor.

We regret that the highest authority of the municipality of Tinajo is irritated by receiving funds to improve the municipality in health matters. Others of us are more dismayed and embarrassed to know that party after party we will continue to promote and pay with our taxes to the same artist.

Mr. Mayor: Rejoice for once that funds have been obtained for the highly demanded Clinic, even if it gives you nightmares that it is thanks to the work of the socialists.

Begoña Hernández, Secretary of Organization of the PSOE of Tinajo
