It turns out that now Canal Gestión comes to scold us because, according to them, "the people of Lanzarote waste water." Well, of course, here instead of showering we do a two-hour thermal circuit and water our tropical gardens with water pistols. You don't say.
The problem, dear friends of Canal Gestión, is that there is no water. But not a little less, no. THERE IS NONE. We wake up dry, with the taps blowing air and the hope that if we pray hard, maybe a little drop will fall. And this doesn't only happen in small towns, even in Arrecife we are noticing the shortage. Which is a pain in the neck.
And instead of admitting that their management is a disaster, they come with their finger raised to tell us that we spend a lot. But what do we spend, if there is none? The memory of water? The illusion? The tears of desperation?
Let's see, Canal Gestión, the only "leak" that really exists on this island is that of your dignity. So less blaming people and more getting to work. Because the only thing this island is wasting, for the moment, is patience with you.
