The Yaiza City Council has started the modernization works of the park located in the residential area of the Pechiguera Lighthouse, in Playa Blanca, within the municipal plan to adapt and improve the municipality's children's play areas.
An assignment that involves, according to the City Council, “the installation of games, placement of approved rubber pavement and provision of shade spaces.”
The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, recalls that within the municipal projects in this matter “the City Council has just put into service the new park in the Plaza de Remedios, in the town of Yaiza, and sign the contract for the total renovation of the park known as the boat park located on Avenida Faro Pechiguera in Playa Blanca.”
The Councilor of the Area, Rubén Arca, notes that “all the projects are municipal drafting, some of which are financed with own resources, such as the Remedios park, and others with co-financing formulas with money from the Cabildo's Cooperation Plan, as is the case of the Faro Pechiguera park.”
