The City Council has commissioned the installation of games and rubber flooring, fencing and shade areas, among other actions

The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, signed this Thursday the contract by which the southern City Council commissions works and supplies for the renovation of the playground located in the Faro Pechiguera area, in the town of Playa Blanca. This is a municipal project that determines the installation of games, placement of approved rubber flooring, fencing of the park and shade areas, among other actions.

"The City Council has launched the improvement plan for leisure areas with another action that we are currently carrying out in the Plaza de Remedios park, a project financed with municipal resources that is quite advanced, and this action in the Faro Pechiguera park that we are financing with a charge to the subsidy from the Island Council that belongs to us from the Municipal Cooperation Plan of last year,” the mayor pointed out.

Rubén Arca, Councilor for Parks and Gardens of Yaiza, has detailed that in Faro “we will proceed to remove the deteriorated games to replace them with new ones and carry out maintenance on the rest”. "We will also install shade areas, signs, signage and street furniture such as benches and trash cans," he added.
