The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, and the representative of the company STV Gestión S.L. signed this Monday the contract by which the awarded company commits to provide the cleaning service of municipal facilities of Yaiza for 894,000 euros for two years, extendable for two more years, with the contractor having to adjust to the frequencies and schedules established by the Administration for the cleaning of each center and exercise control of the personnel under their charge during the working time.
The contract includes cultural centers, public restrooms, the Playa Blanca library, and the municipal gymnasium, among other facilities. According to the Councilor for Maintenance of Public Buildings, Rubén Arca, the company is also committed to opening and closing the restrooms of the Playa Blanca town court, restrooms of the Uga Picnic Area, restrooms of the La Alameda Square of Yaiza, public restrooms of the Playa Blanca center, and restrooms of the sports courts of El Aulagar and San Marcial de Rubicón of Playa Blanca.
The service commits to maintaining the facilities in optimal cleaning conditions, covering floors, pavements, baseboards, restrooms, walls, ceilings, patios, and windows. Within the obligations of the contract, the cleaning of the Municipal Office of Playa Blanca, the Uga Camel Interpretation Center, the Local Police station, and the restrooms of the Bus Station is also planned.
The objective is to optimize cleaning and ensure that both municipal personnel and residents who use public buildings have facilities in the best possible cleaning conditions.
