Fifty people interested in obtaining the municipal taxi driver's license took the exam this Thursday in Yaiza, following the notice of aptitude tests from the City Council presided over by Óscar Noda, which with this call responds to the demand from the sector that needs a greater number of prepared and authorized drivers.

The Councilor for Transportation of Yaiza, Beatriz Vázquez, reports that "in a month, the 10 new licenses already authorized must be operational, with which the provision of the taxi service in Yaiza goes from 67 to 77 vehicles. The self-employed require more taxi drivers, so we are making effective the commitment acquired with the sector and with the improvement of the service in our municipality".

The exam questions are basically related to the taxi service ordinance, the street map of Yaiza and knowledge of the municipality. In order to take the exam, interested women and men presented the required documentation in advance, among other papers, identification, driver's license, certificate of criminal records and official medical certificate.
