The Yaiza City Council has made effective this Tuesday the payment of 27,000 euros to 15 sports entities as part of the economic aid that the municipality allocates for the creation, organization and operation of the Municipal Interest Initiation Sports Schools (EDIIM), income corresponding to the second period, January to March, of the 2022-2023 season.
Óscar Noda declares that "we have maintained and will maintain organizational and training support for young players in different disciplines in order to facilitate sports practice from school ages, promote the acquisition of healthy, active and value-based lifestyles through sports and promote the reconciliation of academic life with leisure time".
"Sports entities have operating expenses, including the purchase of material, bonuses for coaches or monitors, or travel to compete," the City Council reports.
So in accordance with "these needs and the fulfillment of objectives", "Yaiza establishes criteria, informs and convenes the subsidies and makes the payments to clubs or associations, always valuing the tireless work of the entities and the invaluable support of the families of the municipality", he adds.
