Eighteen cleaning laborers and seven construction workers. These are the 25 job profiles that are already being filled by as many people who have benefited from an agreement signed between the Canarian Employment Service, the Canarian Federation of Municipalities and the Yaiza City Council. Through this agreement, which will be in force until May 29, 2011, the employment situation of these workers will be regulated.

These employees will carry out different revitalization works in the municipality of Yaiza, including the improvement and conditioning of garden areas and urban centers of the municipality, the improvement of access roads to the nuclei and the revaluation of urban and rural public spaces of Yaiza.

It should be noted that the hiring of these twenty-five people does not entail any cost to the municipal coffers, since it has been possible thanks to an item of 146,017.80 euros included in the aforementioned agreement, according to the southern City Council in a statement.
