The Yaiza City Council plenary session approved this Tuesday, unanimously by all groups, the proposal for the complete remodeling of the non-paved section of Comedero Street in the town of Playa Blanca, whose "state of deterioration has been increasing over the years until its total abandonment," the party reported.
As the PP councilors stated in the plenary session, "it is not only the inconvenience and difficulties that residents and tourists experience when traveling through the area, but also, the situation of the road represents a risk to road safety." "A danger that residents have been denouncing for some time without the city council having done anything to correct the situation," they recalled from the political formation.
The municipal spokesperson, Juan Monzón, points out that this section that leads to Don Jaime Quesada El Maestro Street, "does not have the minimum services that a road adapted to the regulations should have, neither from the point of view of reduced mobility, nor of pedestrian safety," apart from the fact that the pavement is in "a very poor condition."
From the ranks of the PP they also wanted to draw attention to the fenced plot that is located on said street and that has become "a garbage dump of garbage and belongings."
Yaiza Growing Anniversary
On the other hand, the Popular Party has joined the institutional declaration on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Creciendo Yaiza Association. "Creciendo Yaiza, which began as the union of parents of children with different abilities, and who in our municipality lacked the necessary services, has become in just a decade a leading association in the islands," said Juan Monzón, who on behalf of the entire PP of Yaiza conveyed his congratulations on this tenth anniversary to Creciendo Yaiza, in the person of its president Ligia Molnar, and encouraging the group to continue with the work undertaken. "From here also our gratitude and support," said Monzón.
