The Yaiza City Council and the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa held an informative and training day on employment and qualification aimed especially at the young people of the municipality. In addition, according to the Consistory, the workshop held this Wednesday in Playa Blanca was also of interest to mothers and fathers and groups that carry out activities with young people.
The institution chaired by Óscar Noda positively values the joint actions carried out with the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa and encourages the young people of Yaiza to establish, stay in contact or register in the Qualification and Employment Program (PICE) promoted by the chamber entity.
In this regard, it is explained that there is a plan to train and increase the possibilities of labor insertion of young people, helping them to improve their knowledge in languages, technology and social skills. Boys and girls can register in the job bank and the Chamber is responsible for informing them about the opportunities that fit their professional profile. The information is available on the attention lines 928 82 41 61 or through whatsapp messages on the number 660 85 05 27.
The gratitude of the Chamber of Commerce is reciprocal with Yaiza. "It is an opportunity that they have given us to make ourselves known in the municipality and to be able to offer them information about the Chamber as well as the programs that we work on," they point out from the chamber entity.
Yaiza organized this youth employment workshop and develops other days of citizen interest taking advantage of the human resource linked to the New Employment Opportunities Plan in the Canary Islands (NOE) with which the City Council has reinforced the benefits in Social Services.
The Councilor of the Area, Ángel Domínguez, accompanied the mayor and the technical team of the Chamber and the local Administration at the closing of the day.
