The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, confirms the inter-administrative cooperation with the Cabildo of Lanzarote to execute the project to improve accessibility and condition the rolling area of the vehicles of the Playa Blanca Bus Station, a fact that the municipal president values as "a new agreement between institutions that in this case facilitates the realization of a dozen actions for the safety and comfort of the users of the building".
In addition to the resurfacing work, the execution project, with a budget of 140,000 euros, determines a pedestrian access route to the interchange, eliminating the existing curbs in the nearby environment of the public road, and the signaling of the route by means of tactile pavement.
Óscar Noda informs that painting and repair work for humidity is also planned; improvements in the rainwater network; conditioning of platforms; adaptation of ramps and accesses; vertical and horizontal signage; and installation of benches with backrests and armrests, among other equipment.
