Yaiza allocates 566,000 euros to the complete rehabilitation of the El Aulagar court

The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, signed last Monday the contracting decree to "put out to public tender the execution of the comprehensive rehabilitation project of the El Aulagar court." A measure "with a base bidding budget of 566,000 euros", being a municipal initiative that "provides for the expansion of the current basketball court and the placement of changing rooms, lighting, bleachers and perimeter fencing"

The mayor emphasizes that “our idea with this installation, more than investing in patches, was to undertake a forceful action, we committed to that and we are fulfilling it.”

For his part, the councilor, Ángel Lago, highlights that “children and young people will now have a comfortable space to practice basketball”, in addition to the fact that “the municipality is gradually catching up with the sports facilities that it demanded so much”, they emphasize.

"We have already handed over the San Marcial del Rubicón sports center for use and enjoyment", taking into account that "the town's court is in its final phase of execution, we have given the Pavilion a new boost and we continue investing in welfare projects”, they make clear.
