The Public Works area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote reports that circulation has been limited to vehicles of more than 5.5 tons and a length of more than ten meters on the LZ-10 road, in the Tahíche-Haría section, due to physical deficiencies in the infrastructure, according to a technical study by the Road Conservation Service.
The vice president and head of the Area, Jacobo Medina, explains that "this action has been carried out after the damage caused to the retaining wall due to the impact of a truck."
“We are working on the beaconing and signage of approximately 15 meters of the area so that both residents and visitors take extreme precautions,” emphasizes Jacobo Medina.
The Island Corporation appreciates the collaboration of citizens while the works continue and asks that the corresponding signage be followed.
