The emblematic restaurant of the Casa – Museo del Campesino, César Manrique's iconic tribute to the men and women of the island's primary sector, is preparing to experience Canary Islands Day as it deserves, reports the Tourist Center. 

The center's team of culinary professionals has prepared a menu that offers a tour of some of the most recognized and recognizable dishes from Lanzarote's recipe book. Traditional recipes and local products to shape a gastronomic proposal that keeps intact the smells and flavors that were always present in the island's kitchens, it says.

Thus, between May 27 and 30, Sweet Gofio from the San Bartolomé mill will be offered as a snack; Canarian salad with fig vinaigrette or Original broth of millet and Lanzarote wheat with its garnish, as first courses; and Traditional cherne sancocho with its sweet potato and potato or Canarian pig secret with local vegetables and Lanzarote wine reduction, as second courses. For dessert, the winning menu that always involves the Gofio mousse with Canarian flavor.

The price to enjoy these island delicacies is 28 euros per person. Drinks are not included, but bread and flavored butter service are.

The festive day at the Casa – Museo del Campesino will feature the participation of local parrandas who will be responsible for filling the atmosphere with their Canarian folk music. It will be, the Parranda Pa'l porrón, Son del norte and Gabriel Cubas, it advances.
