The Tías City Council has put out to tender improvement works on the Puerto del Carmen Football Field for an amount close to 44,000 euros including taxes.
The announcement was published this Thursday on the Public Sector Contracting Platform and, according to the technical report of the project, 1,600 square meters of artificial turf will be installed, of which 1,200 will go to a new area attached to the La Tiñosa Football Field. The other surface will be used for ornamental elements of the football field.
Interested companies have until December 28 to submit to this new official competition of the Tías City Council. The supplying company that is awarded the contract will have three months to execute the works.
Other improvements to the Puerto del Carmen football field
From the Tías City Council they point out that the installation of this new area with grass in the Puerto del Carmen football field is added to the recent reforms that have been carried out in the changing rooms and bathrooms.
In addition, it is pointed out that the Tías government group has scheduled other improvements in sports equipment on the Mácher courts, in the Tías Municipal Sports Center, and in the La Tiñosa facilities. The Councilor for Sports, Francisco Javier Aparicio Betancort, has advanced that the tender for the new lighting of the Puerto del Carmen football field is currently being finalized with the placement of new towers.
Reforms in the Tías Wrestling Ground
Within the improvements that are being registered in the sports facilities of the municipality of Tías, the remodeling of the Tías Ulpiano Rodríguez Pérez Wrestling Ground is also currently being tendered, with an investment that exceeds 611,000 euros.
The works have been put out to public tender with a budget of 611,103 euros, charged to the Municipal Cooperation Plan of the Cabildo with the City Councils of Lanzarote. "The project has been drafted by the City Council and will be executed by the Cabildo with charge to these funds," said the Councilor for Public Works and the area of Planning and Project Coordination, Saray Rodríguez.
The company that is awarded these improvements will have six months to execute these works that will be directly supervised by the Public Works Area of the Cabildo.
