The Tías City Council continues with the official tenders of its powerful Municipal Investment Plan, endowed with more than 10 million euros. The Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) publishes in its edition of this Friday, December 29, 2017, the official announcement of the City Council - chaired by the mayor Pancho Hernández - where the execution of the works of facilities of the Puerto de Carmen Football Field are put out to tender, with an investment of 138,488.87, not including the IGIC.
According to the technical specifications, the company that is awarded the contract must undertake these improvements in the La Tiñosa Football field in a period of 3 months.
The Councilor for the Sports Area, Francisco Javier Aparicio Betancort, has reported that the Tías City Council currently has a plan to renovate, expand and improve the current sports facilities of the municipality throughout all the towns where we are focused, preferably, on the adaptations of the Football fields in Tías, and now with these tenders, in the La Tiñosa field.
For next January, the remodeling works of the changing rooms of the La Tiñosa Football Field are scheduled to begin, which were put out to tender last July for an amount of 171,967.98 euros. This December the contract for these reforms has been signed and the start of execution is scheduled for January of the new 2018.
Tías will invest more than 3 million euros in sports facilities
The Government group of Tías (PP and CC) currently has modernization projects underway for municipal sports facilities with an investment of close to 3 million euros. The mayor of Tías, Pancho Hernández, recalled that when these works are completed, they will turn Tías into the municipality of Lanzarote with the most and best municipal sports facilities and equipment.
