The Tías City Council has suspended the festive events planned for this Thursday as a sign of mourning for the victims of the DANA in the Valencian Community and surrounding provinces. Yesterday, a minute of silence was observed on the facade of the consistorial house for the deceased, family members and those affected.
The celebration of Noche de Finaos scheduled for this October 31, in the Plaza de la Iglesia de San Antonio, in Tías, is canceled. The planned musical performances by the Tías Music School, the El Pavón group and JVP Quartet will be postponed until a new date.
The Tías City Council wants to show all institutional support to the Valencians and all those who have been affected by the dramatic consequences of the storm.
The Aemet recalls that the meteorological emergency has not ended. The dana is still in Spain, so storms are occurring in Andalusia and Castellón.
