The Tías City Council published in the Official Bulletin of the Province (BOP) last Monday the public employment offer for this 2019. Among the new positions offered, there are five positions for local police officers.
As explained by the Consistory, the Tías City Council has used the extraordinary formula for this public employment offer, with which it intends to cover "as soon as possible" these five vacancies in the Local Police Force due to the retirement of five officers. The explanation is that, since last year, after the modification of the state regulations, the Local Police officers in Spain can retire at the age of 59, if they have completed a number of years in the exercise of the activity.
Now, with the publication in the BOP, the mandatory file is initiated to put these five new positions out to competitive examination to reinforce the Tías Police. After this announcement, the call for applications will be made soon.
Along with this extraordinary public employment offer, the Tías City Council has also published the offer of three police officers through the internal promotion system (agents who are civil servants and are eligible for the officer positions).
