The Tías City Council ends the year 2023 "without debts" and with its accounts and investments "up to date" after the last payment to suppliers of "1,613,901.33 euros" with an average invoice payment period of 13 days and a collection percentage of 81%.

The management executed by the team led by Mayor José Juan Cruz under the economic direction of the Finance Councilor, Tomás Silvera, guarantees the "stability, solvency and sustainability of municipal finances".

Tomás Silvera points out that "the Tías City Council started the year with a budget of 27.7 million euros, 8.4% more than 2022, and that this year's fiscal year closes with a budget that exceeds 37 million euros by managing subsidies from other administrations and treasury surpluses".

This increase has been allocated to the "improvement of services" provided to citizens and to the "execution of projects and investments" that directly revert to the "quality of life" of residents and visitors.

Silvera advances that the budget planned for 2024, pending approval in plenary session, will amount to "29,025,268.19 euros" with an upward line in Social Services and the Environment, without forgetting the "improvement of tourist services", in addition to the forecast of execution of "important public works projects" for the municipality.
