Due to the works of Duplication of the Arrecife Ring Road, in Lanzarote, from 08:00 tomorrow, Saturday, and for a period of 24 hours, the branch of the Costa Teguise link that allows the Puerto de Los Mármoles-Airport movement will be closed to traffic. This cut is necessary to carry out the trenches for the replacement of telephone lines.
Motorists who intend to continue in the direction of the Airport through this link will have the following alternative routes:
- Take the Rambla Medular and, through it, access the Ring Road, or directly to the LZ-2 Arrecife-Playa Blanca.
- Continue along the Las Caletas road to Costa Teguise, and from there go to the Ring Road via the LZ-14 road.
The Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Territorial Policy of the Government of the Canary Islands, headed by Domingo Berriel, asks motorists to excuse the inconvenience that these changes in traffic may cause, as well as to plan their trips taking into account this eventuality, and respect the signs and guidelines of the authorities and personnel responsible for traffic.
